TO AND FROM SINGAPORE AIRPORT TRANSPORT
The Singapore Changi Airport is one of the best airports in the world and the city center is situated approximately 30 km from the airport. So, to make your commute easy, relaxing, and comfortable the airport offers various modes of transport that includes train, public bus, taxi, airport shuttle, private transfer, and rental services.
Train
You can easily mount the train from terminal 2 and 3, but to access terminal 4, board the free 24-hour shuttle bus located at terminal 2.
To get to the city, transfer to the westbound train at Tanah Merah station. And to get to Changi, transfer to the eastbound train at Tanah Merah station. You can buy a single ride ticket at train stations or a stored-value EZ-Link card for multiple rides.
Bus to airport
When heading to the city board the bus from the basement bus bays of Terminals 1, 2 and 3. For Terminal 4, the bus stop is located next to Car Park 4B and near the SATS Inflight Catering Centre 1. Likewise, for departure, public buses stop at Terminals 1, 2, 3 and 4.
Remember to tender exact fare as no change will be given.
Airport taxi
It takes approximately 30 minutes to reach the city and fare will amount to $20 and $40. Fares are metered, however, there is an additional Airport surcharge for all trips originating from the Airport.

However, there are shuttle services from Changi Airport to Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal for a seamless transfer onward to your ferry ride. Another interesting factor is the Free Shuttle Bus Service that is open to all members of the public visiting the airport on a first-come-first-served basis.
